Hungama Mobile wins ‘Best Marketing Campaign in Mobile Entertainment’ at Meffys
Hungama Mobile has bagged ‘Best Marketing Campaign in Mobile Entertainment’ award organized by the Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF). The Award (MEFFYS) was won for Hungama Mobile’s packaging of mobile entertainment content for the Hollywood blockbuster Casino Royale, a venture undertaken with Hutch.
The awards were judged by an eminent panel from the filed of entertainment, media and mobile networks. This is the first time an Indian entry has won at the MEFFYS, fighting off competition from global contenders such as Qwikker, The Hyperfactory, Nokia and Vibes Media.
Hungama Mobile tied up with Hutch for providing mobile entertainment content for all 20 Bond back catalogue movies as well as the most recent – Casino Royale – across content categories, such as imagery, music, video and games. The exclusive content available also included, ‘The making of’ and ‘Behind the screen’.
Talking about the victory, Saleem Mobhani, COO Hungama Mobile said, “It is a great honour to be presented with one of the industry’s top recognition and we are extremely elated that our Casino Royale campaign with Hutch for content download has proved to be a huge hit among the jury at the MEFFYS.”
